Catalog data from the community-maintained miniature-paints dataset plus hand-curated conversion charts. Barcodes come from the WarHub catalog and the Trans Atlantis Games product list, and are read on your device by zxing-wasm (the camera image never leaves your phone); a pot the scanner doesn't know can be taught, and what you teach it stays in this browser and in your exports. Two Thin Coats triads and “official chart” matches are transcribed from the Trans Atlantis Games paint reference charts (Waves 1–3, 2024); “charted” matches come from community conversion charts, including spectrophotometer-measured Citadel ↔ Vallejo pairs (ΔE00 ≤ 4) from the community paint comparison chart; “near-exact / close / in the ballpark” matches are computed by color distance from swatch values. A match means closest usable substitute, not an identical pigment, and swatches are screen approximations of pot color. Triads for brands other than Two Thin Coats are suggested progressions, not official sets. Your collection is saved in this browser — use Export for a backup you can restore anywhere. Signing in is optional: if you do, using only your email address (a code is emailed to you), your paint list and learned barcodes are also kept on our server so your devices stay in step, and the sign-in email goes through a mail delivery service. You can sign out at any time and your collection stays on your device, and you can delete your synced data from the account panel whenever you like (your sign-in email address is removed only on request, via Contact). All paint names are trademarks of their respective owners; this project is unaffiliated with and not endorsed by any paint manufacturer.
